1. This promotional competition is organised by Foschini Retail Group (Pty) Ltd (registration number 1988/007302/07) (“TFG”).
2. In these rules, “Promoter” means a person who directly or indirectly promotes, sponsors, organises or conducts the promotional competition, or for whose benefit the promotional competition is promoted, sponsored, organised or conducted, which includes TFG.
3. No director, member, partner, employee, agent of, or consultant to the Promoter or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter, their advertising agencies, or their spouses, life partners, parents, children, brothers, sisters, business partners or associates, may enter this promotional competition. This also applies to a person who is a supplier of goods or services in connection with this promotional competition.
4. All participants must be at least 18 years old at the time of entering the competition and must reside in South Africa.
5. The Promoter reserves the right to vary, postpone, suspend or cancel the promotional competition, any aspect of the promotional competition and anything related thereto, without notice at any time and for any reason whatsoever that the Promoter deems is reasonable at the time. Should the Promoter, law or any authority cancel this promotional competition, no notice of cancellation shall be required. In such event, all participants and winners waive any rights and acknowledge that they shall have no claim, of any nature whatsoever against the Promoter, its directors, agents or employees as a result of the cancellation.
6. By entering the promotional competition, participants agree and understand that they may win a prize, but there is no guarantee that they will win a prize.
7. To qualify for a promotional competition entry, participants must:
7.1. either:
7.1.1. sign up to the TFG Rewards gaming portal at the following website: https://tfg.light-house.online/register (the “TFG Rewards Gaming Portal”); or 7.1.2. swipe their TFG Rewards card when making a purchase in store at any TFG affiliated store;
7.2. earn coins on the TFG Rewards Gaming Portal by either:
7.2.1. playing games on the TFG Rewards Gaming Portal. The coins earned can be used in exchange for mystery prizes (as set out in clause 8.2 below); or
7.2.2. using the Gamification Festive Fo' Sho voucher code found on the till slip to claim on the TFG Rewards Gaming Portal and earn coins; and
7.3. to enter the daily Mystery prizes, weekly competition and grand prize draw, participants must use coins earned in the participant’s TFG Rewards Gaming Portal wallet and use the coins in exchange for entries to either daily Mystery, weekly competition or Grand prize draws.
8. There will be:
8.1. 1x TFG Rewards Gold Card valued at R100,000.00 (this voucher will be given to the winner over a period of 12 months with R8,333.00 given to the winner each month) (the “Grand Prize Winner”). In addition, should the Grand Prize Winner, also be an FNB cardholder, they qualify for an additional eB1,000,000 (R100,000.00) reward paid into their eBucks Account. Should the Grand Prize Winner not be an FNB cardholder, the eB1,000,000 will be forfeited and allocated to the first FNB cardholder drawn after the Grand Prize Winner. Should the winning FNB cardholder not have an eBucks account, an eBucks account will be opened for them prior to their eBucks being allocated.
8.2. 44 (forty-four) participants that stands a chance of winning weekly prizes (“Weekly Prize Winners”). The weekly prizes are as follows:
8.3. Multiple mystery prize winners (“Mystery Prize Winners”) that stand a chance of winning one/or more of the following mystery prizes in exchange for coins required to redeem the relevant mystery prize. The mystery prizes are redeemable on a first come-first-serve basis. The mystery prizes, and corresponding coin amounts to redeem the mystery prizes, are as follows:
9. The winners cannot choose the prize(s) – it will be awarded at the Promoter’s sole discretion. 10. The Promoter and its sponsors do not accept any responsibility for any entries or prizes that are lost, damaged, unusable or delayed.
11. The winners will not be entitled to payment, credit or otherwise in the event that they do not claim or utilise the prize to the fullest extent possible.
12. The prize is not transferable and may not be deferred or exchanged for cash, credit or otherwise.
13. If any taxes, levies, duties or any charges whatsoever are levied on a prize by any competent authority, the winners will be liable for these and the prize value will not be increased to compensate for such charges.
14. To the extent that a licence (e.g. driver’s licence), proof of identification or permission (e.g. by a parent/guardian) is required in order to accept or use a prize, the winners must produce such licence, identification and/or permission for inspection by the Promoter prior to receiving the prize. If winners do not or are unable to do so, the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be drawn under the same terms and conditions (for that specific prize).
15. This promotional competition will start on 03 December 2024 and end at 23h59 on 22 December 2024 (the “Closing Date”). No late entries will be accepted.
16. The Grand Prize and Weekly Prize Winners will be randomly selected by the Promoter’s representatives and the selection will be overseen by an independent accountant/auditor/attorney. The respective Grand Prize and Weekly Prize Winners will be drawn on or about the following dates (i) 09 December 2024, (ii) 17 December 2024 and (iii) 23 December 2024. The Mystery Prize Winners will receive their prizes instantly after
exchanging coins, as set out in clause 8.3 above, for a relevant mystery prize selected by the participants. The respective winners’ names may be published on the Promotor’s social media channels.
17. The respective winners will be notified telephonically and/or email after each draw by using the contact details provided by the respective winners when they signed up to the sign up to the TFG Rewards gaming portal. If the Promoter is not able to contact winners, or the winners do not provide the Promoter with relevant and correct information timeously, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be re-drawn (for that specific prize). The decision of the Promoter as to the winners are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
18. Mystery Prize Winners must contact the Promoter if they have won a prize. The Promoter will then first verify that the purported winner is in fact a Mystery Prize Winner and once verified the Promoter will contact the relevant Mystery Prize Winner to arrange delivery of the mystery prize.
19. The Promoter reserves the right to remove any posts or entries on social media that it deems spam; offensive; political; not in line with the community guidelines of the relevant social media channel; not in line with the Promoter’s values or an infringement of a third party’s intellectual property.
20. By entering this promotional competition and as condition to receive the prize, participants: 20.1. consent to the processing of their personal information by the Promoter(s) and its service providers, but only insofar that it is necessary to give effect to the promotional competition, for example to view the entries, select and announce the winners and deliver the prizes. The winners will be given the opportunity to consent to further processing of their personal information;
20.2. waive their moral rights and grant the Promoter exclusive, unlimited, perpetual and free of charge copyright and usage (in any territory where the Promoter trades), in all media forms of all material, text and intellectual property created and/or published/posted by the participants in the submission of their competition entry. The Promoter will be entitled to use and edit the intellectual property in any manner and in its sole discretion, for an indefinite period of time and in any territory where it trades. Participants will not during or after the closing date of the promotional competition dispute or question the copyright and usage by the Promoter;
20.3. waive any right to demand royalties, usage fees or any other form of compensation or payment for the use of intellectual property in the participant’s entry; and
20.4. should they be selected as winners, agree to sign an acknowledgment of receipt form in exchange for the prize.
21. By accepting a prize or by entering this promotional competition, participants hereby indemnify the Promoter and the relevant social media channels against any damage or losses of any nature whatsoever that the participants may suffer arising from this promotional competition and the prizes, including consequential damages and economic loss.
22. The winners may be requested to endorse, promote and advertise any of the goods and services of the Promoter and will not unreasonably withhold their consent. 23. In respect of certain prizes, the following further terms and conditions are applicable: 23.1. My School Days
23.1.1. The voucher(s) may only be used once.
23.1.2. Winners must be a School-Days member or join School-Days in order to redeem the voucher(s).
23.1.3. The voucher(s) may only be redeemed on the School-Days platform (www.schooldays.co.za).
23.1.4. The voucher(s) are for Education Time Points (ETPs) which will be added to the relevant winner’s School-Days account.
23.1.5. Terms and Conditions of the School-Days product will apply to all ETPs (https://www.schooldays.co.za/terms).
23.1.6. The voucher(s) are not refundable.
23.1.7. To redeem vouchers, respective winners must:
23.1.7.1. Visit www.schooldays.co.za and join School-Days (it’s free), or login using their mobile or ID number.
23.1.7.2. Click on ‘Redeem a Voucher’ on the School-Days dashboard.
23.1.7.3. Enter the 6-digit voucher code to redeem the ETPs.

23.3.1. Vouchers will be issued to selected TFG Rewards customers in the Promoter’s sole discretion, indicating the available reward.
23.3.2. A voucher may only be used once.
23.3.3. Only one voucher may be redeemed per purchase. Winners may not accumul ate vouchers or use multiple vouchers for one purchase. All online vouchers
have a minimum spend. If not expressly indicated, the minimum spend is the value of the voucher.
23.3.4. Vouchers will either be:
23.3.4.1. downloadable on the winner’s phone; or
23.3.4.2. redeemable either in store only, and across the highlighted TFG brands on your voucher.
23.3.5. The voucher will include information regarding where and how it can be redeemed.
23.3.6. Winners may not redeem a voucher when purchasing the below items (unless specifically indicated):
23.3.6.1. sale, marked down or discounted items;
23.3.6.2. airtime, cellular or navigational items
23.3.6.3. gift cards or services.
23.3.7. The expiry date on a voucher will not be extended under any circumstances. 23.3.8. A voucher is not refundable if the product that was purchased using the voucher is returned.
23.3.9. The Promoter does not under any circumstances guarantee what the voucher reward will be and
under no circumstances may winner’s request a different reward
or obtain a second reward at the same time.
23.3.10. Winners will not be able to redeem a voucher in the unlikely event that a store is off-line but will be able to redeem the voucher the next time that the winner shops.

24. Participants will be deemed to have accepted these promotional competition rules by entering the promotional competition. Failure to comply with these rules, or the terms of acceptance of a prize will be deemed to be a rejection of the prize and the winners will then be disqualified from receiving the prize.
25. This promotional competition is not organised, sponsored, endorsed or promoted by any social media channel.
