Promotional Competition Rules for the TFG Money Account Shop Home & Win Competition:

1. This promotional competition is offered by Foschini Retail Group (Pty) Ltd (registration number 1988/007302/07), a subsidiary of The Foschini Group Limited (“TFG”).  

      

2. In these rules, “Promoter” means a person, who directly or indirectly promotes, sponsors, organises or conducts the promotional competition, or for whose benefit the promotional competition is promoted, sponsored, organised or conducted, which includes TFG. 

        a. No director, member, partner, employee, agent of, or consultant to the Promoter or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter, their advertising agencies, or their spouses, life partners, parents, children, brothers, sisters, business partners or associates, may enter this promotional competition.  This also applies to a person who is a supplier of goods or services in connection with this promotional competition.       

     

3. To qualify for entry into the competition, a participant must be:

        a. a South African citizen, 

        b. reside in South Africa, 

        c. be a TFG Money Account holder, and 

        d. be over the age of 18 years.   

                              

4. Should the law or any authority terminate this promotional competition, no notice of termination shall be required. In such event, all participants waive any rights and acknowledge that they shall have no claim, of any nature whatsoever against TFG, its directors, agents, or employees as a result of the termination. Further, TFG reserves the right to vary, postpone, suspend, or cancel the competition and any prizes which have not yet been awarded, or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time and for any reason whatsoever that TFG deems reasonable at the time.     

                

5. By entering the competition, you agree and understand that you may win a prize and that there is no guarantee that you will win a prize.   

                      

6. The competition is open to customers who have a TFG Money Account; a TFG Money Account number, and either a valid South African passport or South African ID number. The customer’s accounts must be in good standing (paid and up to date) at the time of the draw. 

                                              

7. This competition will commence on Saturday, 1 March 2025 and end on Monday, 31 March 2025.  


8. To enter the competition, a customer must shop in any TFG home brand (@home including Granny Goose stores, Coricraft, Volpes, Dial-a-Bed or The Bed Store) using their TFG Money Account to pay for the total transaction value. Online sales are included. If the goods are returned in full the entry will be cancelled. Deposits on furniture purchases will not be considered for entry into the competition, these purchases will only qualify for a competition entry once the furniture sale is concluded in full.  

      

9. Each day a customer shops in one of the aforementioned brands they will earn an automatic entry into that brand prize. For example: an account purchase made in @home = 1 entry into the @home shopping experience draw. If that same shopper makes another account purchase in Coricraft = 1 entry into the Coricraft shopping experience draw. The account shopper has earned two entries; 1 in Coricraft and 1 in @home. A customer can only earn 1 entry in each participating brand per day i.e. a maximum of 5 entries per day.     

           

10. There will be five winners overall, one in each participating TFG Home brand. Each prize will be in the form of an in-store or online personalised shopping experience to the value of R50 000.00 (Fifty Thousand Rand only) in the brand of entry, except in the case of The Bed Store & Dial-a-Bed where the customer has the option to redeem the prize in an alternate participating TFG home brand.  

                           

11. Prizes are not transferable, may not be deferred or exchanged for cash or otherwise.


12. If the prize winner would like to exchange goods accepted as part of the prize, they must do so within 30days of receiving them. This process must be managed directly with the store manager where they were purchased from, or the nominated brand contact if the purchase was made online, as the winner will not have a receipt to exchange the goods.

 

13. Winners will be randomly drawn from eligible participants per brand at the discretion of TFG representatives after the closing date at the TFG Head Office in Parow East, Cape Town, in the presence of an independent Accountant /Auditor /Attorney.  

           

14. The decision of the competition conductor as to the winners is final.    


15. Winners will be contacted via SMS or Email by Friday, 11th April 2025

.                         

16. The date of the shopping experience will be confirmed by the prize conductor. The shopping experience will need to take place by no later than Sunday, 1 June 2025. If the prize is not redeemed by this date it will be forfeited.      

                     

17. Winner’s names will be published on the TFG and respective Brand of the Prize Social Media pages before the end of June 2025.  

                                   

18. Winners agree to their images in the form of photographs or video being taken during their shopping experience and being shared by the promoter or company on customer media channels. Should a winner opt to not share their images or video footage they must inform TFG in writing before their shopping experience date. TFG may take photos and videos for internal record keeping purposes.   

                                                

19. By accepting a prize or by entering this competition, the customer hereby indemnifies TFG, its directors, agents, employees, and the promoters / sponsors against any damages of any nature whatsoever that anyone may suffer as a result of the prize/s and/or this competition, including consequential damages and economic loss.  

                       

20. Failure to comply with these rules or the terms of acceptance of a prize by a winner will be deemed to be a rejection of the prize and the winner will then be disqualified from receiving the prize.     

                                           

21. These rules will be published on www.bash.com under the Terms and Conditions Page, within the Promotions & Competitions section.
