1. This promotional competition is organised by Foschini Retail Group (Pty) Ltd (registration number 1988/007302/07), trading as TFG Rewards (“TFG”).
2. In these rules, “Promoter” means a person who directly or indirectly promotes, sponsors, organises or conducts the promotional competition, or for whose benefit the promotional competition is promoted, sponsored, organised or conducted, which includes TFG.
3. No director, member, partner, employee, agent of, or consultant to the Promoter or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter, their advertising agencies, or their spouses, life partners, parents, children, brothers, sisters, business partners or associates, may enter this promotional competition. This also applies to a person who is a supplier of goods or services in connection with this promotional competition.
4. All participants must be at least 18 years old at the time of entering the competition and must reside in South Africa.
5. The Promoter reserves the right to vary, postpone, suspend or cancel the competition, any aspect of the competition and anything related thereto, without notice at any time and for any reason whatsoever that the Promoter deems is reasonable at the time. Should the Promoter, law or any authority cancel this promotional competition, no notice of cancellation shall be required. In such event, all participants and winners waive any rights and acknowledge that they shall have no claim, of any nature whatsoever against the Promoter, its directors, agents or employees as a result of the cancellation.
6. By entering the competition, participants agree and understand that they may win a prize, but there is no guarantee that they will win a prize.
7. To qualify for a competition entry, participants must:
7.1. be following TFG Rewards on Instagram and TikTok (@tfgrewards); 7.2. spend an amount equal to the relevant TFG brand’s spend threshold. The thresholds are:

7.3. be an FNB (First National Bank) cardholder. Should the participant not be an FNB cardholder, the prize will be forfeited and allocated to the first FNB cardholder selected thereafter. Should the winning customer not be an FNB Cardholder, the eBucks Reward will be forfeited and allocated to the first FNB Cardholder drawn. Should the winning FNB Cardholder not have an eBucks account, an eBucks account will be opened for them prior to their eBucks being allocated;
7.4. use hashtag #FestiveFosho must be used on any festive content posted by participants on their Instagram
7.5. comply with the terms and/or conditions specific to the mall run (as set out below); and 7.6. shop at TFG stores at the relevant mall and at the relevant date as set out in these terms and conditions.
8. the respective prizes that participants stand a chance to win are:
8.1. a R500.00 (five hundred rand) TFG voucher for using hashtag on Instagram stories; 8.2. spot prizes The spot prizes are (i) a Tempo watch and a Foschini Beauty hamper (to stand a chance to win this prize, participants must (i) follow TFG Rewards on Instagram and TikTok and be registered on the Festive Fo’Sho game) and (ii) eB50,000 (fifty thousand eBucks valued at R5,000.00 (five thousand rand) (to stand a chance to win this prize, participants must (i) follow TFG Rewards on Instagram and TikTok, be registered on the Festive Fo’Sho game and must to spend R500.00 using any FNB card at any TFG Store);
8.3. the DreamBoys will randomly select participants in TFG stores and should a relevant participant meet the requirements above, that participant stands a chance to do a mall run to the value of R5,000.00 (five thousand rand) (subject to the full R5,000.00 being used and further conditions set out below). The conditions of the mall run are:
8.3.1. mall run winners (i.e. the lucky shoppers) will have 15 (fifteen) minutes to complete the mall run. no shopping will take place after the 15 (fifteen) minutes have expired;
8.3.2. a total of at least 2 (two) TFG stores need to be shopped from during this mall run. This does not include time at the till to pay. It does however include the time between stores. Should participants fail to comply with this condition, any items that the participant may have selected and/or purchased or the like will have to be forfeited back to the relevant store; and
8.3.3. at the end of the 15 (fifteen) minutes, should the R5000 not be depleted, the shopper will not be entitled to the balance. The balance will roll over to the next lucky shopper. For example, if the shopper only managed to spend R4500. The next shopper in line will have R5500 to spend.

10. Each winner will only be entitled to one prize each. The winner cannot choose the prize – it will be awarded at the Promoter’s sole discretion.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to remove, or request that the participant remove, any posts or entries on social media that it deems spam; offensive; political; not in line with the community guidelines of the relevant social media channel; not in line with the Promoter’s values or an infringement of a third party’s intellectual property.
12. The Promoter and its sponsors do not accept any responsibility for any entries or prizes that are lost, damaged, unusable or delayed.
13. The winners will not be entitled to payment, credit or otherwise in the event that they do not claim or utilise the prize to the fullest extent possible. Any item or value unused will be deemed waived by the winners. Voucher codes will not be resent and no replacement voucher codes will be issued.
14. Prizes are not transferable and may not be deferred or exchanged for cash, credit or otherwise.
15. If any taxes, levies, duties or any charges whatsoever are levied on a prize by any competent authority, the winner will be liable for these and the prize value will not be increased to compensate for such charges.
16. To the extent that a licence (e.g. driver’s licence), proof of identification or permission (e.g. by a parent/guardian) is required in order to accept or use a prize, the winner must produce such licence, identification and/or permission for inspection by the Promoter prior to receiving the prize. If a winner does not or is unable to do so, the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be drawn/selected under the same terms and conditions.
17. This competition will start on 3 December 2024 and end on 22 December 2024. 18. The winners will be randomly selected by the Promoter’s representatives (i.e. the DreamBoys) at the relevant malls.
19. The decision of the Promoter as to the winners is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
20. Winners will be announced on the day of selection in the relevant mall. 21. By entering this competition and as condition to receive the prizes, Participants: 21.1. Consent to the processing of their personal information by the Promoter(s) and its service providers, but only insofar that it is necessary to give effect to the competition, for example to view the entries, select and announce the winners and deliver the prizes. Winners will be given the opportunity to consent to further processing of their personal information.
21.2. Waive their moral rights and grant the Promoter exclusive, unlimited, perpetual and free of charge copyright and usage (in any territory where the Promoter trades), in all media forms of all material, text and intellectual property created and/or published/posted by the participants in the submission of their competition entry. The Promoter will be entitled to use and edit the intellectual property in any manner and in its sole discretion, for an indefinite period of time and in any territory where it trades. Participants will not during or after the closing date of the competition dispute or question the copyright and usage by the Promoter.
21.3. Waive any right to demand royalties, usage fees or any other form of compensation or payment for the use of intellectual property in the participant’s entry; and
21.4. Should they be selected as a winner, agree to sign an acknowledgment of receipt form in exchange for the prize.
22. By accepting a prize or by entering this competition, participants hereby indemnify the Promoter and the relevant social media channels against any damage or losses of any nature whatsoever that the participants may suffer arising from this competition and the prizes, including consequential damages and economic loss.
23. The winners may be requested to endorse, promote and advertise any of the goods and services of the Promoter and will not unreasonably withhold their consent. 24. Participants will be deemed to have accepted these Competition Rules by entering the competition. Failure to comply with these rules, or the terms of acceptance of a prize will be deemed to be a rejection of the prize and the winners will then be disqualified from receiving the prize.
25. This competition is not organised, sponsored, endorsed or promoted by any social media channel.
