Why am I not getting an OTP when trying to pay with my TFG account card?

The OTP is sent to the email address and phone number that’s been registered with your TFG Account profile. It can take up to 5 minutes to arrive.

If you still haven't received the OTP after 5 minutes, you might need to update your contact details. 
You can do this by contacting the TFG Customer Service Team at 0860 834 834.


If you only have SMS setup, it could be a device/carrier issue. Please restart your phone and ensure it's not roaming off the network.


We only send the OTP to South African numbers. 


Loadshedding can also affect the delivery of OTPs. If the power's out, t
ry again later when the power is back on.
