Why am I not getting an OTP when trying to pay with my TFG account card

The OTP is sent to the email address or phone number that’s been registered with your TFG Account 

profile. It can take up to 5 minutes to arrive, so don't panic if you don't see it right away.

If you still haven't received the OTP after 5 minutes, you might need to update your contact details. 

You can do this by contacting the TFG Customer Service Team at 0860 834 834.


If you still haven't received it after that, it could be a device/carrier issue. Please restart your phone and make sure it's not roaming off the network.


Remember, we only send the OTP to South African numbers. 


Psst! Did you know that load shedding can also affect the delivery of OTPs? If you think that's the case, 

try again later when the power is back on.
