Bash Gift Cards Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all Bash Digital Gift Cards (“Gift Cards”) issued and fulfilled by Bash, powered by Yoyo. By purchasing, receiving, or using a Gift Card, you agree to these Terms.

1. Issuer & Definitions

1.1. Bash Digital Gift Cards are issued and managed by Bash.

1.2. “Gift Card” refers to a digital card issued with a unique code that holds stored value for online redemption on the Bash website and app.
1.3.  “You” refers to the purchaser or end-user of the Gift Card.

2. Purchasing Gift Cards

2.1. Gift Cards can be purchased through the Bash app.
2.2. Gift Cards may be purchased in fixed denominations or custom values, subject to availability.
2.3. Payment for Gift Cards must be made using any of the available payment methods at the time of purchase.
2.4. Bash reserves the right to limit the number or total value of Gift Cards purchased per customer for fraud or compliance reasons.

3. Delivery of Digital Gift Cards

3.1 Gift Cards are delivered digitally via email and SMS to the buyer unless the buyer nominates a recipient to receive the gift card via email and SMS.
3.2 Delivery is typically instant but may take up to 24 hours in some cases.
3.3 It is your responsibility to ensure the correct recipient email address or phone number is provided. Bash is not liable for Gift Cards sent to an incorrect address or phone number provided by the buyer.
3.4 If your Gift Card has not been received, please contact Bash Customer Support.

4. Using a Gift Card

4.1 Gift Cards can be redeemed online on the Bash app.
4.2 To redeem a Gift Card, enter the unique gift card code when you checkout.
4.3 Multiple Gift Cards may be used in a single transaction.
4.4 If the Gift Card balance does not cover the entire purchase amount, the balance may be paid using another accepted payment method.

5. Balance & Expiry

5.1 Gift Cards remain valid for 36 months (3 years) from date of issue, unless otherwise stated.
5.2 After expiry, any remaining balance is forfeited and cannot be refunded or reinstated.
5.3 You can check your remaining balance using the balance checker link provided in the Gift Card email or on the Bash website or app.
5.4 Gift Cards cannot be topped up or reloaded.

6. Refunds, Returns & Cancellations

6.1 Gift Card purchases are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
6.2 If you return goods purchased with a Gift Card, the refund will be credited back to:

• a replacement Gift Card issued by Bash.

6.3 If an order is cancelled or reversed, any amount paid using a Gift Card will be refunded to a new Gift Card.
6.4 Gift Cards cannot be deactivated once issued, except where required by law.

7. Lost, Stolen, or Misused Gift Cards

7.1 Treat your Gift Card code like cash. Anyone with access to the code can redeem the funds.
 7.2 Bash is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misused Gift Cards, including:

• accidental sharing of codes,

• email compromise,

• unauthorised access by third parties.

If you believe your Gift Card has been stolen or misused, please contact Bash Customer Support and we will deactivate the Gift Card.

8. Restrictions

8.1 Gift Cards cannot be:

• redeemed for cash or refunded,
• transferred for value,
• resold
• used to purchase value-added service (VAS) products, including but not limited to airtime, data bundles, and a variety of lifestyle digital vouchers. 

8.2 Suspicious or fraudulent use may result in cancellation of the Gift Card and suspension of related orders.

9. Fraud Monitoring & Compliance

9.1 Bash may deactivate Gift Cards to comply with legal or security requirements.
9.2 Purchases may be subject to additional verification, including identity or payment checks.
9.3 Bash or YoYo may disable or cancel any Gift Card suspected of being obtained fraudulently.

10. Liability

10.1 Bash is not liable for:

• losses arising from unauthorised use of a Gift Card,

• delivery delays outside reasonable control, compatibility issues caused by incorrect customer information.

10.2 To the extent permitted by law, Bash’s total liability for any claim relating to a Gift Card is limited to the available balance on that Gift Card.

11. Changes to Terms

11.1 Bash reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.
11.2 Updated Terms will be made available on the Bash website.
 11.3 Continued purchase or use of Gift Cards constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
