1. What kind of voucher products can I buy on Bash?

You can buy data bundles, airtime and lifestyle vouchers (for gaming, streaming, betting and more). This is only available on the Bash app, not Bash web.


2. Can I buy voucher products for someone else?

Yes! You can enter another person’s phone number when purchasing data bundles or airtime. Please make sure the phone number is correct — once a purchase is made, it cannot be changed or refunded.


3. Can I get a refund if I make a mistake or don’t receive the product?

No. All purchases are final and non-refundable. Please double-check the voucher and the recipient’s phone number before confirming your purchase.


4. How long does it take for my airtime, data or voucher to be delivered?

Vouchers are usually delivered within a few minutes. However, in rare cases, delays may occur due to network or system issues. If you haven’t received your product after 60 minutes, please contact our support team (support@bash.com).


5. Where can I find the voucher code I bought?

Your voucher code will be shown on the receipt after purchase. It will also be sent to your email address.

Your purchase history is also available in Wallet on the Bash app. While in Wallet, select ‘Purchase history’ to see the details of all the vouchers you’ve bought.


6. My airtime or data hasn’t been loaded. What should I do?

First, ensure you entered the correct phone number. If the phone number was entered correctly and you haven’t received the airtime or data after 60 minutes, please reach out to our support team (support@bash.com) with your transaction reference number.


7. Are there any fees or extra charges for buying voucher products on Bash?

No. You pay exactly what you see during checkout.


8. Can I buy vouchers for betting or gambling platforms?

Yes, we offer selected betting vouchers. You must be 18 or older to purchase and use these products. When you buy a betting voucher, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

No persons under the age of 18 years are permitted to gamble. Winners know when to stop. Please contact the Responsible Gambling Hotline for free treatment and counselling on their toll-free line: 0800 006 008 if you or someone you know has a gambling issue and needs assistance.

9. What happens if I send a voucher to the wrong number or email?

Once a voucher is sent, we cannot cancel or reissue it. Please double-check the recipient’s details before confirming your order.


10. Can I use TFG Money to buy airtime, data or vouchers?

No. You cannot buy data bundles, airtime or lifestyle vouchers on Bash with TFG Money.

You can only buy a voucher using the following methods: Bank cards, SamsungPay, ApplePay, instant EFT, CapitecPay and RCS Store card.


11. How do I use my voucher?

Airtime & Data Top-Ups:

  • Airtime and data purchases are direct top-ups.
  • The value is automatically loaded to the phone number you entered at checkout.
  • No voucher code or extra steps are required.

Digital Vouchers (Gaming, Betting, Lifestyle, Entertainment, etc.)

  • For vouchers like gaming, betting, and lifestyle vouchers, you’ll receive a voucher code.
  • Step-by-step instructions on how to use your voucher will be included:
    • On your receipt in the Bash app
    • In your email confirmation

12. Can I buy airtime or data for a non-South African phone number?

No. You can only buy airtime or data for a registered South African phone number.


13. Why does it say my phone number is not on the network?

This means that none of the networks that provide airtime or data bundles has the phone number you entered in their network. This means the airtime or data you want to buy will not work on the phone number entered.


14. Can I buy multiple vouchers at a time?

No. At this stage we are limited to a single voucher type per transaction. We’re working on improving this functionality, and will update this FAQ when this changes.
